Senior Content Strategist & Developer

It all starts with the story. 

As Senior Content Strategist, you’ll lead the discovery and development of that story for clients that range from renowned museums to universities and corporations. You’ll listen closely and facilitate workshops to determine what a client wants to become. You’ll read, watch and explore to suss out the most important messages and stories and how to organize them. And you’ll boldly imagine how to bring those stories to life with a team of multidisciplinary designers.

  • Contribute actively to the content team’s professional growth through mentorship, project-sharing, problem-solving, discussion-leading and new ideas for how to fuel creativity and improve our process.
  • Work with the internal design team and clients to develop a guiding interpretive strategy and conceptual approach for projects
  • Organize and lead client workshops to explore key themes, messages, and storylines 
  • Assist internal design team with all project deliverables for presentations and client meetings
  • Collaborate with the design team on mapping physical and digital interpretive experiences to the available exhibit space
  • Lead content research analysis and formation of content outlines and media matrices
  • Collaborate with the design team and clients to identify, collect, and organize images, artifacts, and other supporting exhibit assets 
  • Help organize and run user testing of concepts and fully produced content 
  • Lead content development for multiple complex projects at one time
  • Assist in content research and support for new business development


  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the production process of both physical exhibits and media experiences
  • A team player working closely with colleagues from other capabilities in an iterative and collaborative process
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Comfort and skill writing in a variety of styles (for different storytelling techniques, for pitches, for client decks)
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with using Content Management Systems

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in the exhibit design industry
  • MA or other graduate degree in relevant field 
  • Additional museum experience
